Today I want to show you some Valentine’s cards that I made using a number of products from the new mini spring catalog. If you like making sweet Valentine themed cards you’re going to want to check this out. All of these products are available in the new mini as well as the 2021 annual catalog – you can check them out here in my online store.
The primary stamp and die bundle used to make these cards comes in a suite called the Sweet Talk Collection. This suite is currently available as a full suite of products or you can order the paper and other stamps individually. The DSP paper that comes in this kit is a must have…so bright and colorful with lots of hearts and all kinds of patterns and designs making this a great Valentine themed suite or even fun for some wedding cards.
Here are a handful of cards that I made using this suite and some other coordinating products. This first card showcases the mini envelope die that comes with the bundle and these are so fun to use as embellishments for your card. I also used the stitched with whimsey border die to create that fun border on the card front.
This next card is so soft and delicate – for the true romantic! I made great use of the repeating heart die for a fun textured background on the front panel. The sentiment for this card came from the Flowering Tulips stamp set which I will showcase soon in an upcoming blog post.
Another card using the mini envelope die – this time I die cut the envelopes from plain card stock and then stamped a pattern on them with the included stamps from the Sweet Talk set. The scalloped border rectangle was cut using the medium sized die from the Scalloped Contours die set. If you don’t own that die set – it is a must have for your collection!
I hope I am able to inspire you to make some fun Valentine cards to send to all your loved ones this year. All of these products are available to you in my online store.
