By Cheryl HorvathToday’s card celebrates Fall! Hard to believe but today is the second day of fall already. The summer was so busy it’s like a blur and I am finding myself wondering where the summer went. Needless to say, I’m kind of a fan of fall – crisp cool mornings, gorgeous fall leaves and comfort food in the crock pot. Those thoughts inspired this Hello Fall card using stamps from a great little stamp company called Hello Bluebird.
The stitched background from Lawn Fawn represents my cool crisp air and I love how the swirls let your imagination believe the wind is whipping and tossing the leaves up in the air around them.
The adorable little forest critters were colored with copics and I do not own the die set (yet) for this set so I had to fussy cut each image and leaf. Oye. Not a small task for the closet perfectionist. 🙂
This is really a one layer card except for the sentiment at the bottom which I popped up on some foam tape. I hope you love it! Now, off to go find a pumpkin spiced latte…since now I’m in the mood. Happy Fall Y’all!
