Took a short break!

Hello everyone…I wanted to pop in super quick and let you know that I have been away for about a week, but I am back on Wednesday and in full swing again! We snuck out of the chilly rainy Seattle weather to visit our happy place in Surprise, AZ where the weather is absolutely perfect right now! In addition to just checking in on our house and making sure everything was still good from when we were last there in April, we squeezed in some golf and got to visit with some friends as well, so it was a great trip.

If I can get my act together, I plan to have a FB live on Thursday at 11am. Im thinking of showcasing the Delivering Cheer stamp set and it’s so adorable. I just love it. It works great for Christmas time or Birthdays, so I’ll show you how I pull those two styles together with this set.

Don’t forget, that anyone who orders from me this month will get a handmade thank you card (made by me) along with a little something extra just because I can! So, don’t delay – let’s go shopping!

Peaceful Deer Stamp & Punch Bundle

Greetings everyone. My project of the week is here! I have two card projects to share using the Peaceful Deer bundle. The first project is a pretty Christmas card and I have used the Tiding of Christmas designer series paper to coordinate. I love this designer series paper – it really is so beautiful and makes the best cards. If you don’t have this paper yet – you need it! I promise.

Here is the inside of the card. I stamped snowflakes (from the Peaceful deer stamp set) around the sentiment and added some pine trees at the bottom. The trees are not stamped in full strength – they are done in evening evergreen which is stamped off once to make the ink not so intense. I love the inside of this card and will be using this theme a lot this year. Project Supplies and dimensions are listed at the bottom of this post.

The second project was this A2 sized gift card holder. It’s a cute pocket card that opens on the side. There is an insert that pulls out to reveal a gift card inside. The paper used is from the Peaceful Prints DSP which is a Sale-A-Bration paper – so that means you can only get this as a reward for shopping with Stampin Up. The ribbon embellishment on this is called the Black & White Gingham ribbon which has been wildly popular this year. It’s on back order currently but expected back in soon, so check back next week – I think it will be restocked by then.

Super Simple & Cute Halloween Card

Well, I thought I was almost done with halloween cards, but then I went and joined a Halloween card swap and committed to making 12 more cards! So, I needed a simple design and something I could do very quickly – AND, it had to be cute, right?

So, I can’t take credit for this design — I CASE’d this card from @julieannepitta who is also my Stampin’ Up upline and has a great blog over at You should definitely go check her out – she is creative like no other!

For this card, I used the Clever Cats and Frightfully Cute stamp sets. The little images in these sets are so cute and fun for Halloween. The little spider is my favorite. I adore him.

The card base is made with Pumpkin Pie and the DSP paper is the coordinating halloween themed paper for these stamp sets called Cute Halloween. These are all available now in our Mini Catalog. Hop on over to my online store to grab these sets while they last!

Here’s a picture of the inside – which by the way is also adorable, don’t you think?

I made a REALLY fast video – I mean like under 3 minutes fast – so it will take you no time at all to click the video link below and have a look at how this card comes together.

Here is a list of all the products used in this project.

Thanks for stopping by! I would love for you to leave a comment and let me know what you think of this sweet Halloween card. Would you make it?

A “clever” little Halloween card…

Hi folks. Today’s project of the week showcases the Clever Cats stamp set which is available now in the Mini July-December catalog. This stamp set has all you need to create some really “clever” Halloween cards – fun for any age.

To create this card, I started with a brick background which I made using the Brick & Mortar embossing folder and Smoky Slate Ink. From there I added layers with the window frame which the little kitty is sitting on, the broom and the pumpkin with the witches hat. I loved adding the little spider in the window just hanging out.

This is another version I did where it’s mostly a black and white card with the exception of the pumpkin. I love how these two cards turned out. So cute.

If you missed my YouTube live the other day – I showed you step by step how I made this card. You can watch the replay here.

Don’t forget – Sale-A-Bration ends next Thursday – September 30th!!!

Friendships do Refresh the Soul!

This weeks card project uses the Beauty of Friendship stamp bundle. I made this card for my Crafty Ninja Team monthly card swap and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out. I got the idea for the layout of this card from Elizabeth Price (@seeinginkspots). I love all the layers she used and so I thought I would give it a try.

Here is the card I made.

I usually like to dress up my envelopes but normally that just means adding some pretty paper to the flap. This time I jazzed up the front with some stamped trees to match the card. Super easy, and makes it look so elegant.

And here are a couple more pics of the side view and the inside of the card. What do you think? Would love for you to leave a comment and let me know. Scroll down for the video link for the card tutorial. Thanks for stopping by!

Here is the card recipe and a link to the printable is also below.
