Are you gearing up for the holiday craft fairs and need a fun item that would be a big hit at your craft table? Or, maybe this note card set would make a perfect gift for that sweet friend or family member. Either way – you can’t go wrong with having a stash of these cute little mini cards on hand – even if just for yourself. Why not surprise an exceptionally attentive waiter/waitress with cash tip tucked into one of these mini cards? Or, leave one for your housekeeper or mail person. Such simple little gestures go such a long way. I LOVE surprising people in this way. They really appreciate it.

The stars of this show are going to a trifecta of products. Rings of Love Designer Series Paper, Kraft 6×6 Paper Pack and the Basic White 3″ x 3″ Envelopes. Choose whatever sentiments you have from your stash, but I chose the “Little Card, Big thanks” from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set, and then the Happy Birthday sentiment came from the Lovely & Lasting stamp set. For embellishments, I just added some of my beloved Linen thread. While I adore this designer paper, there are SO many options and color combinations that you could use to create your own unique set of cards. Get creative!

For the card bases, just cut one of the 6×6 craft sheets in half and score at 3″. You can get two cards from one sheet. All in all, this project with the 6 note cards and the box with lid used up just 5 pieces of 6×6 Kraft paper. If you didn’t want to use the Kraft paper for the box, you can make the lid and the base of this with just one sheet of 8.5 x 11″ card stock. I’d recommend basic white thick so there is some extra sturdiness for the box.

I created a video to walk you through how this adorable gift set comes together. It’s really very quick to make the cards because there is very little stamping. I think tying the bows took the longest! :). Go ahead and scroll down to my YouTube link below and give it a watch. Jump ahead to the end if you just want to see how to make the box. I walk you through the process step by step.

Don’t forget the Rings of Love paper used in this project is a Sale-A-Bration item that you can get for free right now with a $50 purchase. I have four packs already – I love it so much. I plan to make some fun holiday cards with paper too.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you are encouraged to go and make this little note card set on your own. Get creative with the papers you choose and the sentiments. You could make a variety pack of cards like: welcome baby, thank you, get well, congrats, happy birthday! These make great package tags too! Just punch a hole in the upper left corner of the card and tie it on a package with a pretty ribbon. Have fun with this set! I sure did!
