Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! I couldn’t wait to show you how beautiful these Peekaboo treat pouches came out when I paired them with the Cottage Rose Stamp set from the new annual catalog. Swoon! I am so in love with this little gift package.

I start out with a little peek-a-book treat pouch that is currently available in the new Stampin Up annual catalog that just came out in May. These are new and I just love them. They are food safe – the insides are lined and sealed so that nothing seeps through the packaging. The ziplock style seal is very sturdy…with a double ziplock zipper that is very strong. Trust me…it took a bit of finger strength to get these babies to unlock. If you seal them up tightly after you put your treat inside, it is going to stay fresh, and contained.

Although these little treat pouches are food safe, I decided to fill mine with bath salts and give them as thank you gifts, or a just-because-you’ve-had-a-hard-week gift for a bestie or friend. These would also make GREAT party favors for baby or bridal shower. So cute!

The bath salts I used are pictured above. I got them from Amazon (less than five bucks for a 3 lb. bag) and it is a soothing Epsom salt blend for the bath, but the Eucalyptus scent is what took me away. I love a good Eucalyptus bath! I took the time to reproduce a label for the back of the package that describes how to use the salts and the ingredients. We don’t need anyone having an allergic reaction to something because they don’t know what is inside, do we?

Below is another example of how I used these treat pouches for an event I am having. These are welcome place holders for my guests – customized with their names. I filled these with the mini M&M’s which are the perfect size. I decorated the front with new designer paper in the Brights series that is also new in the annual catalog this year. So bright and cheerful! The lady bug came from the Hello Lady Bug stamp set and I fussy cut each one out but it took just a minute. No time at all.

I hope I was able to inspire you to give these little treat pouches a try. And…let’s not forget the gorgeous stamp bundle Cottage Rose and coordinating Abigail Rose Designer Paper. All of these items are available in my online store and I would love for you to give these products a try.

As always, I am available for any questions you might have…please don’t hesitate to shoot me a text or an email. Oh, and I almost forgot…I made a video! Yep…it’s been a while but I did it…and here is the link. Please watch and subscribe if you like what you see.

I also have a project sheet (link just below) for those who want to print it out to have on hand for later.

Thanks again for stopping by and hope everyone has a great weekend!
Cheers – Cheryl
