This birthday card was created using the Timeless Arrangements Stamp and Die Set and features a beautiful arrangement of hand-colored flowers that add a pop of color to this darker background. If you have not noticed this set yet in the catalog you need to go look now! (page 67) This is an amazing set of dies and tons of sentiments that you can use all year long. I only have this one card to show right now but going back to again later today to see what else I can create with this must have set!
This is an A2 size card using basic white for the base, and then I chose one of my most favorite colors – Pretty Peacock for the first layer. This layer was also embossed using the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder which gives it some really great texture and added interest.
I placed the sentiment in the center of this card, and then added a beautiful arrangement of flowers sprigs and twigs that frame the Birthday Wishes. The sentiment was layered onto a piece of Lost Lagoon that I die cut using the stylish shapes dies. I wrapped linen thread into a messy bundle and glued that down under the sentiment.
The flowers were colored using Berry Burst and Highland Heather. The sprigs and leaf die cuts were cut from basic white and lost lagoon paper. For a final touch, I added three pretty peacock adhesive backed sequins for just a touch of sparkle.
For the inside of the card, I layered white cardstock on top of a piece of pretty peacock to give it a border and tie it together. I used Lost Lagoon to stamp a few sprigs and berries in the bottom corner to finish off the inside.
I hope you love this card and maybe it inspires you to make one as well. All the supplies used in this card are shown below. If you do not already have a Stampin’ Up demonstrator, I’d love to earn your business and help you with all your stamping and crafting needs!
