The bundle sells for $53 and right now, if you purchase this set, you can get a full pack of coordinating 12x12 designer paper for FREE! So, for a little over 50 bucks, you get a stamp set, the hybrid embossing folder, coordinating dies and a [...]
Thank you Cards with the Sending Smiles Bundle
Today's post is featuring the new stamp bundle called Sending Smiles. This wonderful stamp set comes with coordinating dies and makes creating beautiful cards so very easy. The dies themselves are awesome because you can cut out each component of the flower and build a beautiful bouquet. AND... there are two narrow sentiment strip dies that have a decorative embossed border that really adds a finished look to your sentiment. I am always looking for a nice narrow sentiment die and this bundle has two! Another great piece from this die set is the shadow die for the word Sending. [...]

Hello and welcome to my blog! If this is your first time visiting, WELCOME! And for those return viewers, so happy to have you back. THANKS so much for stopping by again. For my project this week, I wanted to share the card I made using the Shaded Summer stamp and die set. I paired this up with the Harvest Meadow paper and it turned out SO pretty. I love it. There is a subtle but elegant touch to this card with the white background. I dry embossed it with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder. I love to add just [...]

Bloom
I recently discovered stamps designed by Catherine Scanlon (produced by Art Gone Wild) and I was SO hooked! I purchased several of her stamps but this one called 15 Orbs was the first one I saw and it caught my eye immediately. It was screaming water color me, so I inked it up on some 140 lb watercolor cardstock and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. One of the things I loved about this stamp is the center orb was left blank. I pondered for a few days on what to put inside that empty orb, and even asked [...]
Burning the midnight oil…
Spent a few more hours after dinner last night with hubby working on Christmas cards. I love that he likes to contribute! :) This one came out nice and is one of my favorites but I still have to mount it onto a card base. I'm not a fan of mass producing cards that are all the same, so you can understand why it is taking us so long to come up with 50 cards. Thirty three down, 17 to go!
Springtime in November?
I took a moment today to step away from all of the Thanksgiving and Christmas greetings and sentiments for my cards and decided to do a simple "hello" note card to brighten someone's day. Out here in Seattle the winter skies are so thick and gray that it seems the sun is never coming back out again - and on this particular day, I let my mind fast forward into spring and all it's color. So even though this stamp set was designed to be used for a Christmas greeting I stepped outside the [...]
